Child Acting
Everyone has seen that one hyperactive kid that never seems to listen and never seems to run out of energy. Getting a child like this into acting could be the best thing for them. In what other pastime or hobby might they be directed to scream at the top of their lungs, sing, dance, run around, fall down, and/or jump up and down, possibly all at the same time?
"I'm not having my child acting in some silly play!" some might say, but in fact, getting your child into acting has many benefits not only for your child's mental health, but also for her future. Oftentimes children have a difficult time expressing feeling and emotions. By teaching your child acting, you are giving her an outlet by which she can safely express thoughts and feelings. If she does get a break, it could also mean that she is well provided for financially in the future. Just be sure to teach them good values, and to keep their feet on the ground.
The reason a child responds top acting so positively is because it stimulates and occupies both their mind and their body. Even with the most outrageously out of control kids, something magical happens when a director begins to tell them how they are going to "make believe" or "pretend" to do something. Suddenly they are quiet, focused, and inspired, and you will be too when you see your child acting in their first school play!
